COVID-19 Updates at the Willoughby Arts Centre

New conditions of entry

  • Please do not attend the Centre if you have experienced a fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath or travelled overseas in the past month or visited any active COVID-19 Hotspots in Australia in the past 14 days.
  • All staff, teachers, students and visitors are required to sign in through the Service NSW app on mobile phones for the purpose of tracing COVID-19 infections.
  • All staff, teachers, students and visitors are encouraged to wear a mask at the WAC in indoor premises mandated by the NSW Government. Please download the Service NSW mobile app here
  • Staff, teachers, students and visitors and all are required to sanitise their hands upon entry.

A COVID-19 Safety Plan is currently in place which includes some new changes

  • Studios: Following the 1.5 metre indoor physical distancing regulation, all studios will have a variable capacity.
  • Kitchen: Limited facilities available. One person at a time. Tea, coffee, and biscuits will remain closed. Boiling water is available. If you wish to prepare beverages please bring your own cups, utensils, and ingredients. You will also need to wash up at home. Microwave and fridge remain open.
  • Cleaning: Increased frequency in cleaning including studios being cleaned by teachers and students after each class.
  • Cashless payments: Cash and cheque payments are currently unavailable. Only card payments will be accepted for enrolment bookings and other purchases.
  • Exhibitions: Exhibitions are open with social distancing measures in place.
