A nine-week course in still life oil painting. In this course you will learn techniques and strategies to bring objects to life in oil paint. You will learn how to use colour, tone, composition, and painting techniques in a step-by-step approach. Bring along your favourite objects and paint them from life. Each week we will look at different approaches, methods and surfaces, and artists who are using them in their practice. Students will create a number of studies and more detailed paintings. All levels welcome in an encouraging, inclusive atmosphere.
