Workshop attendees will be working from their own drawings and photographs produced on site in the morning. The afternoon and following day will be used to develop your ideas into paintings.
Your choice of oils or acrylics. The workshop will be held regardless of weather. In the event of rain students will be able to work from photographs provided in the studio.
Session 1.
Plein-air drawing and works on paper
Day 1. Spend the morning working in the surrounds of Berry Island, discover techniques for working on paper in gauche and watercolour, charcoal and pastel.
Session 2.
Drawing to paint
Day 1 afternoon and all of day 2. Convert own drawings to paintings. This session will be held at The Willoughby Art Centre and attendees will be working in acrylics or oil on canvas.
