Tutor Sammantha Cree is a Sydney-based ceramicist. She obtained her Diploma in Ceramics from the Northern Sydney Institute of TAFE and has been working with clay since 2016.

Cree makes unique wheel-formed functional ceramic pieces intended to become a part of your daily rituals. These pieces are part of an ongoing investigation into our routines and the ways art can interrupt our habits and remind us to be present. Alongside this she produces small collections of design-inspired pieces that make space for her to explore her own experience through clay. These are intended to contribute beauty and originality to our lives and to serve as a reminder to cultivate creativity and space for our passions.

Cree is interested in continuing her journey in ceramics by sharing her knowledge and working within ceramic studios to embrace all aspects of the medium.
