Marta Madison works from her studio in St Leonards and has been illustrating, painting and felting for years. Her work encompasses all facets of felting, nuno-felting and silk painting and she is well known for her unique wool and silk scarves. An Alzheimer’s art educator, Marta brings her distinctive and approachable teaching style to the aged care sector, teaching art appreciation to those with dementia. She is keen to spread the benefits of BeCalm Blankets to the world, inviting the community to share their collective knowledge and sense of purpose with each other, creating a better life for those with dementia.
