Join contemporary artist Mathew Lynn on a journey exploring our beautiful local beaches and waterways as a subject, where you will be encouraged to express your personal visions, experiences and even memories, whether observational or more experimental and contemporary. This is a class for any media you choose. You can work more traditionally, deepening your understanding of the fundamentals of seascape representation, or you may wish to completely transform your practice with experimentation, abstraction, even adding figurative elements....

Portraiture with Mathew Lynn / Term Class
Choose your own adventure with your desired medium and approach in this portraiture class from award winning artist Mathew Lynn. Across nine weeks learn the traditional aspects of realism to achieve a technical likeness as well as how to evoke those intangible qualities that create a sense of someone’s being. You may choose to move through realism more quickly and spend time experimenting with contemporary portraits. Mathew will help students learn to look at and ‘see’ subjects in less representational ways and combine elements of observation and abstraction into a new kind of harmony....

Develop Your Painting and Drawing with Brandt Lewis
