As well as having fun after school, students will be encouraged to develop creativity through various visual artforms. Students will learn about artistic processes, materials and innovative thinking, inspired by famous artists and their works, our environment and nature itself. Our approach is to explore and enjoy the artistic journey, which may not necessarily create a perfect product. Students will explore small/large projects, traditional/contemporary approaches to art making, contemplative study and active dynamic work. We will work individually as well as a group to create 2D and sculptural pieces. Cost includes all materials. Please bring an apron, covered shoes and a snack. We will have a short play/snack time.
Just a reminder that the Workshop Arts Centre is a nut free environment. We kindly ask that you do not include any nuts or nut products in packed lunches and snacks.
