In this workshop - for oil and acrylic painters - you will learn to paint a bunch of beautiful flowers from life. Jackson will bring fresh flowers on the day for this light-hearted and stress-free workshop that will encourage you to hone your painting skills and challenge you to see what you can produce in a single painting session.
To start the session, students will receive a brief introduction to painting techniques, colours, materials, and equipment, and explore paintings by masters who specialised in flower paintings.
Jackson will discuss how to start the painting by establishing general tonality and laying down base colours, then explain how to develop depth and colour by working directly on the canvas.
This workshop is recommended for those with some painting experience, but all are welcome to attend.
