This class is suitable for intermediate and advanced students
This is an 6 week course of 4 hours lessons designed to allow students to develop a real momentum in their art practice. Individual tuition will encourage personal visual language in their preferred medium. There will be some class exercises designed to equip students with skills that help visual problem-solving. Please refer to materials list provided.
Saturday Sessions Term 4 Materials
Required for first day of Term 4
We start with a drawing exercise that can be developed into a painting idea or you can work on your own project.
Bring your usual working materials eg. drawing tools, pigments, working surface.
Drawing exercise materials
- Sheet of good watercolour paper 320 gram approx
- Bottle of Black Pigmented Ink (Art Spectrum) Other brands are suitable except Windsor and Newton.
- White tissue paper
- PVA glue
Acrylic
- Paynes Grey
- Titanium White
Other
- Brushes; include a soft wide wash brush
- Scissors
- Blade cutting knife
Bring any of your own work, completed or ‘in progress’ (optional)
