Wheel Throwing with Takeaki Totsuka

Suitable for all levels

The focus is on learning how to use the potter’s wheel to make functional pottery. This course can accommodate students who are new to working with clay, as well as more confident students looking to challenge and refine their skills. Those with prior pottery experience are encouraged to work on their own projects to discover their individual style, while beginners can focus on developing their throwing skills with guidance from the tutor. 

Fee covers tuition and kiln firing. Clay is available for purchase from the Willoughby Arts Centre.
You will need to provide your own tools - a basic pottery starter kit and a microfiber cloth are recommended.
