Suitable for 7-12 year olds.
We will try our hands on the real spinning pottery wheels, and learn how to make cups and bowls that can be used every day. We will also paint them with underglaze colours to give them character.
All pieces will be glazed and fired twice, and they can be taken home 3-4 weeks after class, ready for use.
Bring a snack, drink and lunch. Bring an apron or wear old clothes. Closed toe shoes must be worn.
Just a reminder that the Willoughby Arts Centre is a nut-free environment. We kindly ask that you do not include any nuts or nut products in packed lunches and snacks.
