Masterclass with Mathew Lynn / 2 Day Workshop
This course has no current classes. Please the waiting list.
Suitable for intermediate to advanced.
In this mentoring workshop Mathew will help you with every aspect of being a creative artist, including how you are present with your work and ideas, technical advice across all media and styles, and professional development planning and strategies.
Firstly, a fundamental part of Mathew’s teaching is helping you to understand the artist you are and your nature of creativity, skill level only supports this - so you can be who you are, wherever you are!
Mathew will help you with working through processes to access and understand your sources of inspiration, and accessing a state of flow and freedom in your work.
Another key part of Mathew’s teaching is introducing you to artists and culture relevant to your specific practice (he carries his research with him at all times), and he’ll encourage you to permanently develop your eye by constantly looking!
You can work in any media and any scale. Bring in existing works for advice, or you might like to build some ideas from the ground up over two days.
See Mathew’s general materials list, but it is particularly important that you think about how you will do your process work, see his suggestions. You can contact Mathew before the workshop for any advice.
Mathew will work through quick individual introductions with all participants to get things going, followed by deeper discussions as the day progresses. He will encourage a collegiate and sharing atmosphere!
