Watercolour Portraits with Susie Murphie / 1 Day Workshop

Learn to construct a beautiful portrait in this fun step by step watercolour workshop for intermediate students. Portraits: Intermediate to Advanced with Mathew Lynn / 1 Day Workshop

Intermediate to advanced students are welcome in this workshop with award winning portrait artist Mathew Lynn who will help you to consolidate your existing portrait practice, and expand your understanding and insight of what is possible. You will look at historical examples of portraiture, from the ancient to the contemporary. You will learn portrait drawing techniques and use preliminary sketches to understand compositions, proportions and facial features. Mathew will discuss colour mixing, painting techniques and provides demos on the techniques discussed.
